Practical help for YouTube desktop watch pages in Google Chrome.

Start here: after installing or updating AdQuiet, reload the current YouTube watch page so the page can use the latest extension version.

Quick troubleshooting

Check protection

Open the AdQuiet popup and confirm that protection is enabled. If you just enabled it, reload the watch page.

Check the page

Confirm that you are using a standard desktop YouTube watch page. Shorts, Music, mobile apps, TV apps, and embedded players are not currently supported.

Try a clean reload

Reload the current YouTube watch page. If YouTube replaced the player during navigation, opening the video in a new tab can also help isolate the issue.

Prepare feedback

Note your Chrome version, what you clicked, and whether the issue affected an ad or normal content. The popup can copy fixed privacy-safe diagnostics.

Send feedback

Contact the developer on X. Please do not include passwords, account identifiers, private URLs, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Read the English Privacy Policy or 中文隐私权政策. AdQuiet does not automatically send extension diagnostics with an external feedback link.
